The Stupidityness of the modern tourist?

As you lot know, part of my new business venture is NRMA Roadside Assistance. In general, we jump start cars with flat batteries, patch things to get people home, the occasional keys-locked-in-car thing etc etc.

But it's tourist season here now... and the sheer and unadulterated stupidity of The Tourist is mindblowing.

* I didn't know that charging my 4 kids ipads and phones all night would flatten the battery

* I left the A/C running for the dog and he jumped on the doorlock and now he's locked in the running car

* My girlfriend locked the keys in the boot (rrrrrrrrright its alwayssssss the girlfriend on these ones lmao)

* My car won't start - but they never tell you that they went swimming in the ocean with their electronic key in their ass

* I know it's Christmas Day but can you do my brakes?

* Flat tyre? Sure I can fix that! How's the spare? Flat too huh... nail in it huh... what shall i do now on New Years Day?

And yesterday this clown drives past me as i repaired a frantic tourists leaky fuel line ON HIS RIMS (at the back) because he thought he could drive up to 50 miles on flat tyres...

So, why is it that tourists seem to leave their brains at home when they take their hard earned vacation time?
